The family atmosphere really stood out, especially the lovely breakfast with home-baked treats! Our room was comfy and clean. Just wish there was better parking-had to walk a bit 😊

The room was reasonably large with TV set with satellite channels, climate control, and a mini-fridge-bar.
Hotel was fairly clean and delightful with exceptionally nice staff and fantastic location right near everything. Location just next door to an excellent restaurant even closer and all important places. For tea or coffee visit Caffe del Lion d'oro nearby. Simply no reason to complain, such wonderful stay.

From skeptic to superfan
The charming staff create a warm atmosphere! Our room had an amazing vaulted ceiling, and the restaurant next door served possibly the best food I've ever tasted.
Finding parking was quite a challenge. It required quite a trek uphill, and the shower stall felt cramped .

It is right in the middle of one of the most beautiful towns in Italy, quiet, comfortable, surrounded by good restaurants and an easy walk from most points of interest in the town. We'll definetely stay there whenever we go to Assisi.

All of the staff was excellent and helpful. The locatuion was ideal, a 100 yards from the main square leading to restaurants, shopping and people watching. Our particular room didn't look much like the website but it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast provided was very good. We are experienced European travelers and would definately stay there again.

Closeness to everything. Good breakfast. Luigi at the hotel was very helpful with advice regarding things to see and where to eat etc. The staff were very friendly.
The fact that the hotel is not staffed after 8 pm, so if for example you left your key in your room you'd be locked out for the night. It's just not something we are used to. No tea and coffee making facilities in room or common area. I like to get up early maybe 6.00 am and have several cups of coffee before breakfast. So if the hotel is not staffed 24 hours and there is no bar from 6 am to 11 pm to get coffee, perhaps they could put one of those capsule machines in the hallway on the first floor.

Nice staff, perfect cleanliness, everything in excellent repair.
We had to leave by 10:00 a.m. No parking. Wi-fi only downstairs.

historical ambiance, well-kept architecture, excellent local recommendations
Navigating the labyrinthine layout of the hotel can leave you feeling disoriented!!! Parking is a real hassle due to tight streets and local traffic rules making access quite inconvenient!!!
